Director of Brand

Javy Coffee is seeking a Director of Brand to lead our brand vision and integrate campaigns to curate an exceptional end to end consumer journey as the next world-renowned name in the coffee category. The perfect candidate has a vision for building an emotional relationship between a product and its consumer. They should be innovative, creative, and driven by data as well as aesthetics. This seasoned brand builder will bring creative excellence to elevate Javy Coffee’s product line, mission, and community with a focus on brand positioning refinement, messaging, visuals and aesthetics, and drawing cohesion across all touch points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee brand strategy and campaign execution across all channels
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Organic Marketing Efforts, Social, Influencers, Performance Marketing, Channel Marketing, Creatives and external agencies to deliver a cohesive brand image
  • Build the transition from a commodity product to an emotional life changing product
  • Drive brand awareness, community building, and consumer word of mouth
  • Develop key brand frameworks, systems, and teams
  • Partner with Creative to meticulously ensure all brand communications are at the highest quality and align with our values and executional standards
  • Work with Product team to innovate on existing and future SKU’s to ensure omni-channel product market fit
  • Build out content marketing strategy such as newsletters and blog
  • Constantly analyze and test outbound marketing messaging and communications across owned, earned and paid channels
  • Help identify our core customer persona and portray that throughout the brand


  • A minimum of 5 years of consumer marketing experience
  • Led Brand or Creative Marketing for a CPG fast growing startup
  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing teams
  • A proven track record of success in launching DTC products
  • Ideally experience with Food and Bev, lifestyle or a wellness brand
  • A versatile marketer who possesses analytical, strategic and executional skills
  • Must be a self-starter with energy, drive and determination to set clear priorities and accomplish goals
  • Possesses a consumer-first mindset and thrives in an agile, fast-paced team environment
  • Values creativity and strives for best-in-class marketing work
  • Part leader, part coach, part doer with interest in rolling up their sleeves and building brands and teams
  • Passion for developing a brands mission
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
