Blended Banana Iced Coffee
If you’re looking for dairy-free, plant-based alternatives to enjoy your daily fix of coffee this might be the right one for you. This recipe can be called a coffee smoothie, a banana café frappe, or even a dairy-free frappuccino. No matter the name, this cool drink is a delicious option for any coffee lover.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1-2 tbsp of sugar or sweeter of choice
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp Javy Coffee Concentrate
- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened plant-based milk, we recommend oat milk
- Ice cubes
- Ground cinnamon (optional)
Add the bananas, sugar, cardamom, and vanilla extract to your blender and puree until smooth. With the blender running, slowly add the milk beverage and Javy coffee concentrate, once everything is combined add enough ice until you get a solid mixture.
Pour the banana iced coffee drink into a tall glass, and serve with ground cinnamon on top if desired.
